Daniel Gašpar

Daniel has over 15 years of industrial, advisory and investment banking experience in the US, UK, Germany and The Netherlands. He is cofounded EWAMCo., a private investment advisory firm in Slovakia. Prior to EWAMCo., Daniel enjoyed an international career and helped to build up the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance franchise of NIBC Bank in Germany focusing on private equity transactions and co-investments in small and medium-sized enterprises in North-western Europe. During his tenure at NIBC, he worked with dozens of companies and successfully executed 17 private equity/management buyout transactions in a total financing volume of more than EUR 2.6 billion.

Before NIBC Bank, Daniel worked in Corporate Finance at Kaufman Bros. LLP in New York, in Strategy and Sales Planning at Daimler AG and BASF AG in Stuttgart and Ludwigshafen, respectively.

Daniel studied Mathematics, Strategy and International Management at Comenius University Bratislava and Mannheim University in Germany. He holds a postgraduate master’s degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Management School.

At Crowdberry, Daniel is responsible for management, strategy and business development of the firm and focuses on growth capital investments for small and medium enterprises. He managed investments for Boataround.com, Ecocapsule, Creative Pro, SeniorHouse – Dúbravská oáza, Malý gazda, GymBeam, Footshop and Isadore Apparel as well as numerous seed investments for venture fund managed by CB Investment Management.
